The best way to divide weeds throughout a pandemic

the-best-way-to-divide-weeds-throughout-a-pandemic

We’re still in the middle of a raging pandemic and of course we still don’t share weed. I’m sick of it, you’re sick of it, and the community as a whole definitely misses those days when we could all circling in a back alley and light up together. COVID-19 has disrupted every aspect of life and with it adjustments must be made.

More than ever, we are looking for ways to experience this magical connection that comes from sharing weeds with others. And while passing the joint to the left is indefinite, there are still some lifestyle hacks and activities that can help you get high together.

The most important thing to remember is social distancing safety. Keep your saliva to yourself, do not give anything, or breathe out around others.

Here are five ways to divide weeds during a pandemic.

Virtual smoking sessions

I’ve been on wax in a lot of places saying that virtual sessions are rubbish, but they are what we have for now. It’s not that they’re not good for conversation, it’s that without being personal, you don’t have the physical clues as to when to talk or not. So in the end, it’s everyone just talking about each other, and you decide that it might be easier to smoke your weed and listen to everyone wandering around for thirty minutes.

Customizations and currently there is no more secure personal communication method than Zoom, Google Meet, FaceTime, etc.

Send these emails and give all the homies a time and date when anyone can roll a personal joint or load a personal bowl, jump on a computer camera and share it with those they love. Bonus points if everyone has the same product.

Also, speaking of the same product, you can safely weed during the pandemic by literally smoking the same thing as your friends and then having a little AMA among you. This can be done virtually, but also in person, as long as you are outside and a safe distance from each other.

While the actual sharing of a joint is still missing, the weed sharing is still intact, and from there you can discuss the product, the high, and anything else we all miss about the celebratory smoking circle.

The next time you go to the store to pick up fresh flowers or blobs, buy a double dose of them. Then give your homie an ounce, tell him to roll it or recharge, and bam – the connection that is made when he’s in the moment of a mutual high stays alive and well.

Share a double crutch joint

In the same way that you roll it up separately, sharing a double crutch joint with your friend is the only thing you can possibly accomplish if you actually share the same device during this difficult time.

A double crutch joint is simply a joint with a crutch on both ends. You turn up a fat in a king size paper, crutch it, cut the joint in half and toss the other half to whoever you smoke with and voilà: you are now smoking the same weed and joint, but Follow all guidelines that the CDC has put in place.

Swap homemade foods

For Christmas a friend got me a jar of rubber that he and his wife made at the crib. Not only did I feel loved, but I also showed myself another safe way to share weeds during COVID times.

If you’re looking to hone your cannabis culinary skills, it may be time you finally whipped up that first batch of weed brownies you’ve always wanted to make. Then you can split up the sections, pack them up, and give them to the homies for review.

If you want even more to be ready to go, you can have a little Zoom cooking session with your friends where everyone makes their own brownies so literally everyone shares the weeds with others. A real “baking”, if you will.

Cannabis stash and shot

On Instagram, I’ve seen 710 labs in California doing stash and dash drops. In these, they take a bag of products and leave them in one place, then Instagram, so people can run away and grab them. It’s a great way to share some love (and weeds) during this time, and if you’re in the mood to give, you can do something similar with your people.

On behalf of the connection during a pandemic, open a bag of goodies, drop it off at your friend’s door like an Amazon Prime delivery, and text them “Ay yo … look outside”.
